How to find ideas for writing a book?

In today's article we are going to talk about a technique for getting ideas. Something like a creative writing game for when you do not find out that you want to develop your new book.

Source: atrapalibros.com

Writing exercise

Take a tour of the library or the book stores you have around to see what's new, although it seems silly, it makes more sense than you think. You can also search the internet for the latest books that have been published. Now that you have them, read the titles of the novels, do not read the synopsis, or anything that could give you more clues.

Most may not even look attractive to you, but there will be one that does. Now that you have that book that catches your attention and you would like to read, point the name of the book on paper or download the cover.

The time has come for the next step, without having any idea of the book, try to imagine its plot. Who is the main character, what happens to him, how the story ends... Try to imagine all possible details about what you would like to find on your pages, from beginning to end. Then you write that novel.

When you finish it, change the name. Do not worry, you're not copying, you're inspired by a title. If you want, you can read it and compare it with what you have written. Most likely they are totally different, however, it has helped you to create your own story.

What did you think of this trick? Have you used it or will you use it? Do you have another one to get ideas? Do not forget to comment and give your opinión.

How to start a book?

In today's article we will talk about one of the most complicated things. While we already talked about how to write an ending, today it is about the first chapter of your novel. It may be a path of thorns for someone, because for more characters and arguments you have ready, sometimes choosing the right words to start becomes a hell. Also, how can you not want it to be perfect if we all want to impress our readers?

How to write the first chapter

1- Stop the detours and start with something surprising. Therefore, a lively start will make our readers need to know what is happening. To start, never get carried away by the typical routines of each person, we all get bored. If on the contrary you do not like this idea, you can always choose an intriguing reflection or a prologue full of suspense.

2- Synthesize the information. I know we want to talk about our character and all the motivations that have led him there, but calm, you are in no hurry and the reader still does not feel like being over informed. Let him discover things calmly, need to read to remove that intrigue. It tries to avoid this saturation and especially when the narration is in first person because the effect will be very artificial.

3- It is not necessary to physically describe the character from the minute 1. It may look just like the previous one, although it is similar, it is worth having it separately. Sometimes, it just does not fit to describe it, do not be bitter about it. It is more beautiful to go undressing during the novel. It will be much more natural and real than writing a parrafada describing how it is.

Well OK. You can not resist the urge to describe it, no problema. You can list some key thing in it, like a scar.

4- Place the reader. We must always make clear from the beginning where the character is, to know when the events happen... In this way the reader can imagine what is happening.

5- Make some wink about the personality of the protagonist. As before, you do not have to discover everything, but you do make clear your superficial personality, your most important values or an idea / goal that obsesses you. This will give readers a rough idea of what it is like and how it acts.

6- Do not beat yourself up. That the reading is concise, does not need to be adorned. This way the reader can enjoy it better. Try to avoid large paragraphs and convoluted phrases, try not to become a gibberish. With this I do not say that you neglect the way you write, but do not complicate the text in excess.

7- The narrator. Keep in mind the profile of your protagonist when it comes to talking and thinking. For example, if you are a female character of twelve years living in the present, do not force her to say too pompous and / or old words because it will not be natural.

8- Take care of the genre of your novel. Make it clear what kind of novel your readers are going to read. If it's magic, start with an event that has to do with it. Also, do not forget the main ideas of the novel. This way you will avoid possible disappointments in the future or inconsistencies.

9- We finished the best advice possible, enjoy writing. Forget if the first paragraph is this or that, just feel free because we all need to read your novel, you have talent, we just have to let it out. Also if you do not like it in the end, you can always correct it. Do not be afraid of criticism, in the end there will always be someone you do not like, no matter what you call Carlos Ruiz Zafón or George R. R. Martin.

What do you think of the advice? Do you apply or will apply? Do you have different ones? Share it with us, sure that among all we do much better.

How to correct my book?

In today's article we will try the correction of the novel, because as was discussed in his day in 'How to write a book', it must be done several times to get the best result.

After so much effort dedicated to that manuscript, which you think is perfect, it is when it is the turn of corrections. You must be aware that we all make mistakes, but do not overkill yourself, I do not want you to sink because you can achieve your success if you propose it.

That's why we need to take that look before sending it to any editorial, literary contest ...

Source: primeroseducadores.blogspot.com
What corrections can we make?

To start, the spelling is what we most look, however well you know write, we all make a mistake and have to correct it. When writing, we usually do it in periods of inspiration and to take advantage of it we do not notice the mistakes that we may be making, so in general, we usually have some errors. Rereading the text with a critical eye and hunting for these little mistakes will help us perfect our novel.

The structure is also very important, we must look at each paragraph and chapter, since perhaps we can change them of place to give more sense to our history. Often each chapter looks great separately, but maybe the structure of the novel is not the most appropriate and we must establish a change or a new structure. Does the story work? Is there coherence in the plot?

Last but not least, we found the style. We must be honest with ourselves and realize if the novel has the same style from beginning to end. One must take into account that writing takes time, and it is possible to begin by adopting one tone and ending with another. It is precisely one of the aspects that are evaluated and corrected when taking into account the style.

How much time should I invest?

Writing is a long process, and correction as well. It is a way to evaluate your work, to polish those parts that need improvements, to cut or eliminate what is left over or boring. It is a necessary task if we want a decent manuscript.

Rewriting may be for some the tedious part of creating, it is always thought that it is better to respond to creative instincts, but these do not always guide us to make our manuscript an invaluable piece.

As key, at this point we can highlight the following:

1- Give a rest time to the novel, that we can rest from it and it costs us less to eliminate and change things. In this way we will get another different opinion about our manuscript.

2- We must read it without changing anything a first time, let us see how our story sounds from beginning to end. We must evaluate each plot and conflict to see if they fit together well. At this point we will point out everything we see that is not correct.

3- We begin to rewrite all those aspects that we have aimed to give more cohesion to our manuscript and improve it as much as possible.

4- Now comes the second reading, this is much harder, because here we must look at two things mainly. The parties that bore and the plot. It is difficult to value it because it is ours, but we must do it.

5- In the second writing, we must polish those aspects that we had left, give more strength to the limping parts and we will have almost ready.

6- Now that you think you have everything ready, the time comes for Beta testers, readers who can read your novel and give you a sincere and critical opinion without getting hurt. If they detect errors, point them out and try to correct them.

To finish, remember that you will never be 100% objective because in the end it is your creature, you have created it and you will feel sorry to remove some parts. Therefore, it is best to have a professional, someone who can correct it from another point of view and be a philologist to make sure that each word is correct.

How do you correct your works? Do you take them to someone or do it yourself? Do you have other techniques? Do not hesitate to comment with us, we will be happy to read you.

How to write the best ending?

If there is something more important than a good first paragraph, that is a good ending. If you do not have it, it is like losing the reader the hours spent Reading. Now, it is easy to say, but how do you write a good ending?

It is a big question and in the next article we will try to unmask it.

Source: Openclipart.ord

It seems very complicated to reach the end and get close the circle, that all the elements that you have been listing throughout the novel fit in a perfect puzzle, but it is always posible. Especially when you are novel, it costs to finish with the novel, with that little son you have conceived, drawing it out of your own mind and now, more than ever, you need to end it with him. As much as you think you still have 200 pages left, do not make him agonize.

I know you love to enrich the story with every detail, but if they do not contribute anything important, it is best to remove them from the story, do not think any more.

1- We must find the precise moment to write the last pages and thus we will give with the key. We must keep the flame of reading alive in our reader. Therefore, you should start it right when the reader is still in tension, that is the moment to begin to blow out the last lunges and finish fitting the pieces.

2- Before writing the ending, you must ask a question, Where is the conflict (knot) of my plot ?. Now that you have it in your mind, you can only do one thing, imagine how it all ends. At least get an idea. From there, start writing anywhere you see the possibilities. Let this list rest for a while and then read it again. Some other ending will seem absurd and surreal. Another non-viable because in the meantime another character has appeared in your head. Others will be discreet and some really good. Play with them, cross them, cut them, adjust the shot until you reach an excellent final. Because you have it and you know it, you just need to visualize it.

3- To finish, the most important thing, your end cannot be without reason. Do not deceive the reader with surprises or magic, it has not come this far for that. Or dead back to life, no one will believe that a character who has died is now alive again. Make the reader enjoy your final, but at the same time read at an incredible speed because he wants to know what is going to happen. Because, if your reader has endured so far, it deserves a grand finale.

What do you think of the advice? Do you have some different ones for your final? Will you use them? Tell me your experience with the novels you have written or read. We all have a lot to learn.

How to find inspiration?

In today's article we will talk about inspiration, that prostitute who walks on the lips of anyone and leaves us when we need her most.

I will try to tell some advice and hope that they can serve you.

1- Workspace

We always have a specific place where we write better. It could be in the comfort of the bed (I usually fall asleep), on your desk in front of the computer or even in the bathtub, place of which we already talked in 'How to write a book'. We all have ours. Find it and feel how to let it all flow.

2- Every idea deserves to be pointed out

Any ideas you have, deserve to be pointed out. If you are in bed or driving, forget it, you need to write it down, even if it is on the audio recorder of the pone. If you leave it for later, that idea will evaporate and will not return, I tell you from experience. So as soon as you have something never stop recording it, Although later it does not serve you and you discard it, but you never know if the secret of your success can be there.

3- Observe

Never appear ideas alone, you have to look at your environment, there is always something to tell and if you do not live it is difficult to find new ideas. Do not lock yourself in, get out and look at every inch of your visual spectrum for something interesting. The more you know about what surrounds you, the more you will get at the time of writing.

4- Do not cut your wings

Forget about being perfect, work what you have and enjoy it, unleash your ideas. Usually the best ideas come out of nowhere and the more creative you allow yourself to be, the more ideas you are linking. Let your ideas teach you and for as long as you think the way, be sure that reach the goal.

5- Connections

You must try to connect everything, just as it does not make sense. Perhaps one of those connections ends up having it, such as knife and car. Two objects so different that if you unite, you find a murder and a corpse in the trunk. What do you think? Or even more distant, letter and cistern... She kept those letters of her forbidden love in the cistern of the toilet, covered by a waterproof bag so that no one would discover them.

So with everything and applying the different points, you can jump from one to another idea.

What do you think? Do you have other tips to find inspiration? Which are more useful? Do not forget to leave your comments and share them with everyone, surely we have much to learn.

How to write a good book of fiction?

In today's article we will discuss the most common tips to get a great story of fiction. Extracted from the blog escritoresnoveles.wordpress.com, do not miss it.

1- Write.

2- Write no matter how or where: To pen, to marker pen, to pencil by a waiter, to a machine, to a computer. Write first without giving importance to that fact. Because yes. Just like so many things are done throughout the day.

3- Write without giving any importance. Without believing that you will do something unheard of, unpublished, immeasurable. Write as the tiny person you are. Let it only flow, as any existence. Write without shame.

4- Start thinking about what you are writing. That what goes at your fingertips (And comes from your thinking or who knows what hidden site yourself) is inflammable material and depends on you, you are building something, saying something: Because we are nobody, but nobody is us either. Above all, do not think of any future readers (none!). And you think that everything is worth.

5- Write; It's a game, it's a dynamo. You are going to transform a few words into a small world where things happen. Come closer and observe: Change the figures, put those two together, set fire to that little house with a match, push that truck until you almost hit your favorite character. Turn this sweet morning into doomsday.

6- Share it, do not be afraid (But do not be overwhelming, not everyone wants to read you). Find someone you trust and leave, with complete absence of pride, that spreads your figurines and opine about the horrible construction of your Lego. Even if you suffer, let he do it. He's probably right (And then you can put everything back in its place).

7- After the fun part comes the professional or perfectionist part. Put your helmet on the head and watch your little world until you start to sweat, until vanity gives way to shame. Surely that needs fixing. And surely you can fix it. Do not want too much yourself, Have no mercy or haste. Now it's your Lego construction that matters.

8- Have you had a good time? You think it's important to have fun. Or suffer. Or get nervous. Or feel that one will not be able to get it and then get over it.Or feel nostalgia, doubt, repentance, disgust: In short, something. Even cold. If not, why.

9- Forget all this nonsense I said. Do not pay any attention to anyone. And above all, get the idea that the publishing world does not exist. Live your writing as if it did not exist.

10- Well, forget all this one thing less: From 1 to 9, each word can be translated into one: read. Read. Read. Read. Read forever, as if you were a child that begins. Everything is there.

I did not want to touch them because they seem perfect to me as they are. I wanted to share them with you. If you want to read the full article you can click on the link.

What do you think? Will you use them? Do you have better advice? Do not hesitate to share your advice with us and improve among them all.

What mistakes do you betray as a rookie?

In today's article we will talk about those little details that give us as newbies, not that it is something bad, simply that we were not born taught.

As with any activity you start, It is normal that when writing, you make elementary failures and with time, like all other activities, you will learn and correct them.

1-      Excess of adverbs finished in -ly

It is very simple to abuse them, there are too many and it is very comfortable, but do you know what else it is? UGLY. It is very badly considered because they betray two things about us as writers. We have little practice in the domain of language and its norms and we are not careful when reviewing the text.

It does not mean that adverbs are ugly, if not, repeat constantly the typical "obviously, constantly, really, simply ..."

Check if it happens to you too, if you see that there are several in each paragraph or that few paragraphs, sure you can substitute an obviously for something like the obvious way.

While you are with your draft, use as many as you want. In the end they help to continue the story because it is the most agile, but when you are with corrections, try to change as many as you can.

2- Vary the time of the narration

I've been through a lot and I sure do more than one too. Suddenly the inspiration comes, you start to write, everything flows, it seems to have a great sense and you end up exhausted, but happy for the great advance achieved.

Later you stop to read what you have written and... Surprise! There are different tenses, passes from the past to the future, from the present to the past or your characters go from one place to another changing their conversations without realizing it.

No need to worry, is something very habitual, the important thing is to know how to correct it when you are reviewing the text.

On the other hand, it is also common to change the person of the narrator, you can start in third person "He went to the forest" and finish in first person "I cut a tree". When these occur, the alarms sound, because everyone knows that it is a clear indication that we are in front of a young writer or not so young, but it does begin its route.

3- Obvious cause-effect

It is often difficult to detect, because it usually happens when suddenly someone solves a problem miraculously, without giving much sense to what happened. If there is an effect, we need a cause.

You can make your characters act on impulse, but be sure to make it clear that the characters behave like this for a reason that makes them so.

As we always say, nothing can happen by chance, we need a reason.

If you pay attention to these details, surely your texts will improve. Besides demonstrating that sign of professionalism, of knowing the basic rules of the trade, of not being a rookie in narrative matters.

It all happens to us, so we must continue learning to avoid them and only then will we improve.

What do you think? Do you make mistakes or have you corrected them already? Do you know other common errors? Do not hesitate to comment so we can all improve.

3 tricks to hook with your readers

In today's article we will talk about three resources that will be very useful and effective. it is possible that you already know them, if so, stay to refresh knowledge or give your point of view about it.

To succeed with your book, whether to win readers or money, what you need is quality. However much marketing you do, for much money that you invest in a beautiful cover, in reviews and corrections ... If it is not good material it will not serve you.

What is the meaning of narrative resources?

Before discussing them, let's talk about the meaning they have. The truth is that it is simple, they are used to get the reader to stay until the end of the story, because as you know, the first rule is NOT to bore the reader.

We could say that literature is like a drug, you must create that addiction so they cannot stop reading you.

1- SECRET

It is the first of the three resources that we will comment on. We all know what a secret is. The question is how to make sectrets a narrative resource?

We will succeed in letting the character of our story know something that the reader does not know. This character, main or not, keeps a secret: Has information on something concrete that readers do not know, so you will get them interested to know it.

Hold until the reader needs to know and reveal it, but do not forget to generate new ones so that he remains interested.

2- SUSPENSE

We must get ahead of the sense of danger. That is, if a bomb explodes suddenly, you will produce a surprise effect with a momentary shock.

You will have a great impact, but only during the second that lasts the explosion. You can use surprise as a narrative resource, of course, but with caution.

The important thing should not be the bomb that explodes, get the reader to feel the countdown, that tic tac that despairs them and does not stop Reading. You'll make her worry about the fate of the characters.

Now, what is the difference between sectret and suspense? That the suspense is when the reader knows something that the characters do not know.

Remember that not only do these resources serve for action novels, you can use them in novels of any type.

3- MYSTERY

We reach the third and last point. We speak of the mystery, when it is the information that remains hidden for both the characters and the readers.

It's a good way, too, to connect your characters with the reader. That way you get them to discover the mysteries together.

What do you think of these resources? Will you use them or have you used them? Do you think there are better resources? Do not hesitate and comment on your experiences, sure that together we get something more.

8 novel writer mistakes and how to avoid them

In today's article we will see something that everyone who has ever written a novel is familiar to us, the first time. As it sounds, the moment where more mistakes are made, not because you're bad, because it's just the first time you write and you're not born taught, so today we will try to avoid those mistakes.

1- Emotion does not start

Something habitual when you start to write is that it costs you to give it emotion, you recreate in which he gets up, he makes breakfast, he goes to work... That does not interest anyone. We must give the reader something to stop him from reading.

For me, it's the time when we need more time to invest, if the start is not good, the rest will never be known because nobody will reach that part. Of course, it's not enough with an interesting first paragraph and then nothing, the second paragraph should give the reader expectations to continue.

Then you can lower the pace because you will have it hooked, but while you must be relentless with him. Readers are not conformists and just have to go to a bookstore or the library to find thousands of proposals that interest them. Make your story the one they want to read.

2- There is no chance

Maybe in your day to day there are many coincidences, but when it comes to a novel,  we cannot let that happen, our readers are not as gullible as you think.

Therefore, you are in charge of getting the reader to believe in all that extraordinary universe you are creating.

If there are coincidences, things of chance or whatever, must be justified, do not make him think it's natural for no reason. He will never believe it.

Therefore, if you are able to give life to that universe and you get the immersion of the reader in it, you will be able to create literary magic, as long as he reads he will feel that all that is described is real.

3 - Do not abuse of the details

This error, even if it sounds familiar is not the same as the number 1, in this case refers to that once you have it living adventures, if you count too many things and cause the story to slow down, you'll end up getting bored, every step will become tedious and story will not advance.

If you've taken him to your world and then let him go, you will get worse than not hooking it at first and we can never afford it, we are to make enjoy not to defraud.

4- Do not give too many lessons

It's great that you have things to tell and feel free to do so, although if you get excited giving speeches about life or whatever it is that you think others should follow, you will not get anything.

Because if you try to educate the reader with your sermons, what you will get will be that it closes in band and it will go away, he will have discovered the card that you conceal under your sleeve and lose all sense.

5- good and evil

It is usually a recurring theme and is not the first time we talk about it, already in How to write a different book we comment on this point.

It is almost as vital to be fluid as to represent that naturalness as the story itself. With this balance we can represent the symbology in the way we want to express it.

Do not fall into the temptation to give a single defect to the hero and a single virtue to the villain, they must have pros and cons. In addition, getting that realism even our readers will be able to doubt who is the good and the bad, we will create conflicts in them unexpected.

6- Make you the writer

I do not know what you're thinking, but take it out of your head, it will not work if you write as you should and not as you want. In other situations you may be able to put on a mask, but here you should not fear.

Each book will get you undress a little more and that is not bad, do not be ashamed of these things, because only then will you get to where you want.

Do not write nice, write well. How? That same, that you must transmit what you want to transmit in each moment, it is not necessary to decorate it too much, it must be understood.

Choose carefully every adventure, sounding good is not at odds with creating a great work.

7- Beware of the point of view

This is an error too common, not only in first-time writers, even great authors happens to them, you can also find books with such errors on the street. How will not happen to you?

You have to be very careful, the view in each paragraph counts, if you speak from within a character, you can not leave without a coherent premise and enter into the other.

Okay, we could use an omniscient narrator and in this case he would know what each one thinks at each moment, but that does not favor the reader because it needs to feel identified and have a reference.

If you are going to change your eyes, you must put the reader on notice, that he knows he must change the chip. If we have more than one main character we must change in each scene the view, as long as the narrator warns.

8- What must the writer tell?

It is usually detected as a block, there comes a time when the writer does not know whether to explain some real experiences, doubt whether the reader will believe what has happened to the writer or if it is only part of the story.

On the other hand, we have that habitual fear about what they will say about me, After each sentence and prevent the development of the story naturally. It is a serious problem, if we consider it we will never write anything.

This case, when it is more habitual is in the scenes of sex. Normally the author does not dare express it naturally, when it is a common act, we all have sex in our lives, therefore it is not something that only happens to you. Explain it however you want, but do not curb. Also, the reader does not want you skimping on details at that time.

I will even say more, in these conflictive scenes, the euphemism usually appears. Why penis or vagina when it is a wild sex scene in which the characters have dirty language? If it's a dick it's a dick.

The same as if two characters fight and one is of another race, you're not going to say "boy of another color", you'll call it black or yellow because you're fighting and in that hot moment you will not think if you offend him.

These are some of the usual mistakes, now not to commit them ... or yes, it does not matter, the important thing is to write with the soul and the heart. Let nobody prevent you from succeeding.

What do you think of these tips? Do you think that you have committed any of them? Would you add anything else? Do not stop sharing your comments and we can all learn something new.

Rap and Literature

A few days ago Skone was proclaimed in a very deserved way champion of the International Roosters Battle of Red Bull, this led me to think about the topic that we are discussing today in the blog. Rap's relationship with literature.

Before trying to be a writer I also sang rap with my group, Subconsciente, were other times and the "Magos" EP was in the lists of some specialized webs, but that is another stage that will have its own post.

I have always seen certain similarities still being a space that was not usual in literature. We could highlight several elements that unite both causes, as are the rhetorical figures, Rap as a means of struggle and social change and literary references there.

Some MCs (Master of ceremonies, as rappers are known) show many signs of it, as can be SharifNachKase-o or Xhelazz in Spanish rap.

For those who do not finish being located in what is rap, the official definition in the RAE (Royal Academy of the Spanish Language) is: Musical style of African American origin in which, with a syncopated rhythm, the letter of provocative character, is more recited than sung. Although according to Wikipedia we can also say: Rhythmic recitation of rhymes and puns arose in the mid-twentieth century among the African-American community of the United States. In both cases we can observe that it is spoken of plays of words and recite verses. Are we already in the literature? Right, they are two of the pillars of poetry, Which shows that they go hand in hand. A clear example is Rayden, one of the best known MCs in Spain and Latin America, Has already two books of poetry with great reception where it demonstrates its ability without a rhythm, So poets like Lorca could also have put themselves in front of a micro giving the size.

When we talk about rap we can also understand that the lyrics are above the music, Although it is true that it is a question of giving something of protagonism to the musical producer, it is often obvious to the listener the musical composition to delve into the meaning of the lyrics.

Rhetorical figures in rap?

Many you will be asking that question, As we said, Rap has as basic principle to look for a different and striking language that is not in the streets, in the same way as poetry or even prose, where a literary language is used. Rap, on the other hand, needs to go further because of its oral transmission, taking the rhyme to the extreme. The place where all these resources are shown as alliterations, Is in the battles of cocks where two MC's or freestylers are beaten in a duel, no longer to see who humiliates the rival but to see who demonstrates more originality, elaboration and freshness for an increasingly demanding public. For that reason, finding all these necessary phonic figures, will help us to favor the rhythm of the composition.

By wanting to play with language, the use of metaphors or ironies becomes one of its strengths. Not only are these elements part of the literature, we can find others, as a theatrical structure based on a dialogue between two characters, As it is the case of a great song of Nach and El Chojin, known as "Ayer y Hoy", although if we look also in "Adan" of the group Tr3s Monos, we will find a tell told by Sharif. Detecting the introduction, the knot and the denouement. There are many more examples of this kind if you look closely.

Rap as a means of struggle and social change?

This is simple, we all know rap, like other musical genres, is born of the need to express a situation that nobody wants to pay attention and must be denounced. From there emerges the figure of the MC, someone committed to the society in which he lives and shapes it on the song. Just as it happens with the literary world, where the pages can be filled with complaint and social criticism. Leaving it clear that rap is more than an urban movement, it is also something cultural. Sample of it we have in songs like "Revolucion" of ZPU, or Swan Fyahbwoy with "Spanish Revolution" or cases not clear to the naked eye as "Hidden track" of Los Chikos del Maiz loaded with social criticism. We could continue hours listing songs where we talk about the problems that we can find in the streets, but for today are enough.

What is the creator of rap?

It might seem as abstract question as you think, but it is simple to answer. When we talk about rap creator or MC, we talk about poets, they define themselves thus and they are right, it is nothing more than poetry on a rhythm.

In addition, an MC is so similar to a poet that they coincide in points as unique as not writing to make a profit, but to be heard, so that they can reach the world their songs and write for pleasure.

Rap as an expressive medium?

Just as we talked about rap as a revolutionary medium, we can also see it as an expressive medium, where similarities are seen with the literature when trying to express feelings or emotions. That kind of expression we can find it in a great example as it is the song of "Basureta" of Kase-O extracted from his recent album, "El circulo".

To finish, to comment that after these lines we can observe the great similarity with the literature in general and poetry in concrete, with the only difference that adds music to the verses.

What did you think of the analysis? What MC's of your country can you name with these characteristics? Would you add anything else or take it away? Do you think rap is literature? Do not stop sharing your opinion, we can all learn something from everyone.

How to write a different book

In today's article I would like to comment on some ideas for that book that you are probably thinking of writing and you want to give it a different touch, get the reader's attention and make it special.

I would be lying to you if I say that there is something new to write, any subject has already been done, so let's try to give our point of view and refresh that idea.

Although not only would guide me to look for a good idea for a book, perhaps your place is in a song, a poem or a scientific advance,What do I know? What is clear is that if you look at yourself you will find the answer and success that you crave.

We will review some ideas so that when you have your story thought out, if you need it, you can support yourself, although if you tell something from the heart you are sure to be successful.

1- The bad guy and his story

Perhaps it is a simple way to attract you with this title to talk about good and bad, but it goes beyond that. The idea is that the good and bad are not like that and that's it, I mean, if you have a good main character, why not have flaws? We all have many. Your character will be credible with his virtues and flaws.

The same goes for the bad, Why only have negative connotations? Just as he has reasons to be bad, he will have compelling reasons to have been a good person.

Also, why not even tell it from the perspective of the bad guy? Perhaps he perceives the good as evil.

It's like telling a love story from the position of the deceived wife or husband. Why not tell it from the position of the lover or deceiver? May have compelling reasons to do something like this, even if there is no possible justification, depending on one's morality.

2- The princess is in another castle

In clear reference to Mario Bros, the ideal that the boy should always get the girl should not be an obligation, even though the novel focuses on the search for love.

Why limit yourself to telling the story of the encounter? Let us look better at the meaning of the search, rather than the idealization of the encounter.

Finishing a novel with a question or with a slight bitter aftertaste on your lips can motivate your readers to jump out of their seats and look for answers to the questions you have opened in their hearts.

3- Start at the end

We like the order too much and it is not good either, a twist of the plot from the beginning will get the readers do not expect it and you will make the reader believe that things are not as he believes.

Forget the typical introduction, middle and end. It is obvious that it is a logical order but if we want our readers not to take our eyes off the letters, we must do it.

4- The protagonist does not achieve the objective

As we said in point 2, it is better the adventure itself than the end, nor will we put a quick end and no grace but it can be a nice end not to achieve the goal.

What if our hero fails? Let the reader want to stick leggings and go out to save the world, feel the impotence of not being able to help.

A great impact could be achieved by killing the protagonist a few chapters of the end and giving the baton to one of the secondary, Luigi can also save the princess, does not have to be always Mario.

We would be leaving the standard so there is no greater impact than breaking the rules.

5- Forget the happy ending

How we like being happy and feeling fulfilled, right? For in the novel should not be so, do not please the reader with what he wants to hear, make him feel uncomfortable that he feels the need to realize that things do not change by themselves, we must all contribute.

In the end, teaching the negative part is another way of rejecting evil. Because in the real world justice does not always reward the good and punish the bad, Why is our book going to show such a manipulated reality?

As I said, we will inspire us to get out of the established and achieve a better world, enough of injustices and no one wants to see reality.
